• Right at your doorstep, the 17 hectare Stanford Lake, whose waterfall feeds the spectacular Ebenezer Dam, has trout and bass to test your fly fishing skills.

    • Fishing only for accommodation guests - no day visitors allowed.
    • Catch and release only.
    • Can fish at one of the 8 Jetties on the lake or by the dam wall at the end of the lake.
    • We do not supply a boat - to fish out on the lake, we suggest bringing a float tube or or an inflatable or kayak or small boat (rowing or if motor used, only electric allowed) if you have one.
    • We do not supply any fishing gear - you need to bring your own or hire fishing equipment.
    • Fly or bass rod is fine. Only barbless hooks allowed.
